beach camping and southern california

Even the most attentive adult can find that they have wandered off the beaten trail, and finding your way back can be more difficult than you anticipate. Preparing for outdoor vacations requires some forethought as far as items you will need.

As a couple who have had a great many nights under the stars, there are many essentials that we would not leave home without, starting with a tent and a flashlight for obvious reasons. Times when the bulb of your flashlight dies out, or the spring inside the flashlight falls out and gets lost while you were changing the batteries, seem to happen in the worst times. Some lanterns have focused and well adjusted illumination from a much lesser light source compared to a big bonfire.

Snake bites are not a rarity on camping trips, neither are falls and bruises. You must be well prepared in regards to the experience you have and the equipment you bring along. If you get lost, remember to stay calm, and you will find yourself safe in no time.

Food should be planned depending on the duration of your stay. If you are interested in mountain climbing, it is definitely something people everywhere will tell you is worth pursuing!
