Before setting out on your camping or hiking expedition check and then double check your gear for the most relevant items you will need on the trip. Camping and Hiking have always been a hit to normal outdoor oriented enthusiasts.

Be careful about not eating too much salty foods when doing heavy hiking in high heat or desert areas though, because you can become dehydrated more quickly. Every spare pound that you are carrying counts, so taking too much stuff up with you is always a bad idea.
Remember when hiking to carry enough water. There are so many more constellations to gaze at when you get away from the light pollution of the cities and suburbs.
